Terms of Services
Virtual Peace of Mind (VPM) — Terms of Service
(Last updated October 2025)
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Virtual Peace of Mind (VPM) and affiliated practices (“VPM,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). They govern your access to and use of any website, application, portal, or digital service we operate, including www.vpmforschools.org and www.avirtualpeaceofmind.com, and any related telehealth, referral, scheduling, messaging, or administrative platforms that we make available (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.
VPM may revise these Terms at any time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, so you should review them periodically. We may, in our sole discretion, suspend or terminate access to the Services by any user who violates these Terms or otherwise interferes with the safety, privacy, or experience of other users.
VPM provides school-based and community telehealth services that include therapy, psychiatric evaluation and consultation, care coordination, and family resource navigation. We partner with school districts, families, and licensed clinicians to deliver care using video, telephone, secure messaging, referral and consent workflows, and other tools. Our Services may also include administrative support, intake, education, and follow-up. Clinical Services are delivered by appropriately licensed professionals in the states where VPM operates, which currently include Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Florida, Alabama, and North Carolina. We do not provide emergency medical services or urgent crisis intervention through the Services, and the Services should never be used for emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline immediately.
Your use of the Services is limited to lawful purposes and must comply with these Terms and with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the Services and the content we make available solely in connection with receiving information about, or engaging in, our Services for yourself, your minor child, or, if you are a school or district representative, students for whom you have appropriate authority and consent. All intellectual property rights in and to the Services—including site design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio and video clips, software, and other content—are owned by VPM or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, or exploit any portion of the Services or their content except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with our prior written consent. Any unauthorized use terminates the license granted by these Terms.
